I am saddened to hear the news of Clay's passing. I was not aware until minutes ago from an old Convenient Food Mart fellow employee. I echo the sentiments shared by the Harralson family and others in the Brownsboro Village area. I worked at the CFM where Clay would stop in and he literally lit up the store with his charm and his never-met-a-stranger personality. Work got awfully boring when Clay exited the store. We will all miss him but will never forget a young man with a zest for life. God bless Clay's family, wife, and children.

My condolences to the whole McCarty family. I always remember Clay when thinking about the old neighborhood when we were all young. The McCartys definitely brought something special to the neighborhood with the block parties and cookouts. I remember Clay showing us how he could ride a wheeley on a motorcycle all the way down the street. He was one of a kind. Dad had some old slides of The neighborhood I scanned several yrs ago with about 7 pictures of Clay/weasy. I emailed them to Carol.

Clay was always VERY SPECIAL to me from when he was a little boy. We had a strong connection and could talk about anything. We had many many conversations about life, Gram, our family and lifes challenges over the years. I loved his mischevious grin and twinkle in his eye. He loved everyone in his KY and RI families. He was a unique guy who could always make you smile! Rest in peace dear cousin! I know you are up there playing Scrabble with Gram and that you will watch over Spencer, Katherine and Ellen. LOVE YOU!!!!
