Darren Shacklette Obituary

SHACKLETTE, DARREN JAMES, 45, of Valley Station, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at University of Louisville Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Darren was born March 25, 1964 in Louisville and was a graduate of Doss High School Class of 1982. He was a printer by trade and a talented artist.

His memory will be cherished by his son, Shawn Richmer, of Charlestown, IN; his mother, Geraldine Hubbard, of Louisville; his father and stepmother, Stewart and Kathy Shacklette of Brandenburg, KY; his girlfriend, Carrie Zelch and her three children, Stephen, Keith and Sierra Zelch, of Valley Station; two sisters, Jennifer Cox, of Louisville and Debra Childs, of Martinsville, IN; and brothers, Michael Shacklette of Shepherdsville KY and Jerry Lee Shacklette of Brandenburg.

The family will be holding a private memorial.
