McKAY, MARY LUCILLE RIDINGS, "DUDIE," 85, of Dallas, TX, passed away Friday, March 4, 2005, at the home of her son and daughter- in-law. She was born March 23, 1919, in Louisville. She graduated from the University of Louisville, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and served as U of L's first homecoming queen. She later obtained her master's degree in education and counseling and served as an elementary school teacher and counselor in Louisville from 1955-1979. She was a member of Christ Church United Methodist until moving to Dallas in 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. McKay Sr.; her sisters, Margaret Ridings Miller, Catherine Lee Ridings, Marie Ridings Dorsey and Edna Mae Ridings; and her great-grandson, Jack Noack. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Janie McKay Jr.; her daughter, Mary Donna Noack of Dallas; her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Bob Schissler of Louisville; her grandchildren, Cristin McKay Parker, John Noack, Jennifer McKay Keiser, Matthew Noack, Leigh McKay Sands and Lindsey McKay, all of Dallas, Sarah Schissler O'Malley of Memphis, TN, and Michael Schissler of Louisville; and her great-grand-children, Emma, McKay and Sam Parker, Luke Noack and Mercer Keiser of Dallas. Her funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005, in Averitt Chapel at Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Rd. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Pearson's entrusted with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the building memorial fund of her church.
