Mark Cissell Obituary

CISSELL, MARK, 60, of South Louisville passed from this life on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at the Hosparus Unit of Norton Pavilion.

He was a native of Nelson County, a retired plant manager for Gohmann Asphalt Co., where he worked for 24 years, a member of the Beechmont Neighborhood Association, American Quarter Horse Association, an avid horse lover and all-around animal lover, and a UK fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Charles Cissell and a brother, Thomas Kevin Cissell.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, the former Debbie Chick; a daughter, Kimberly C. Cissell; his mother, Ann Cissell; sisters and brothers, Janet Murley (Ronnie), Timmy Cissell (Sandra), Pam Wethington (Stanley), Tish Stubbs (Larry), and Todd Cissell (Libby); brother in-law, Greg Chick (Madonna); many nieces, nephews and his extended family.

A service to celebrate Mark's life will be held at noon Saturday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday.

Memorial gifts may be made to, Hosparus of Louisville. Online condolences may be left at, www.archlheadysouthernfh.com.
