Cody you were a sweetheart. You were working to become so much more. I had a class with you at Bellarmine & you always had such a beautiful smile on your face regardless of all the work we had to do. To the Mchenry family - my condolences. You had an amazing son. I pray for your family. I know this isn't difficult but Jesus is right by your side every step of the way. Don't forget that.

Have you hurt or cried for a friend? please pray with me, as I pray for my friend whose son (as a young adult ) went home to be with the Lord. As I searched for a sympathy card I cried, words cannot express how I feel for my friend and their family.

Lord please help my friend and their family. Their life feels upside down. Oh, Lord, you know the pain in their heart . It hurts deeply, be with them during this deep and transformative pain. Lord, please keep his memories clear in their heart and mind. Allow them to treasure those memories and find joy. Keep them in the hollow of your hands.

Open their battered heart and lead to comfort , to feel your presence and peace. Strengthen their faith in you, in Jesus name

Amen

Bart,Stephanie,Katelyn,Kelsey and Cole, my prayers and heart go out to you. Kelsey when Kristen & I came back from that trip to Rock City and Alabama and we pulled up in your driveway.... the moment I remember the most was Cody coming through to hug you and how much love and warmth he had on his face, I was taken back by a young teenage boy not shy about missing his little sister. It was a moment that I am grateful to have witnessed and will not be forgotten.

Cody was a sweet, polite and courteous young man. The time I was around him will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers to the McHenry and White families and may God walk alongside you as you grieve. Grieve not for Cody, for he has not lost anything but gained perfection in Heaven. The loss is for all of those left behind but you will see him again and you will share true bliss.
