Dear Mary Ann,
We have never met, but I just read of Tom's passing in the Baldwin Wallace Alumni News. Tom was my "big brother" in the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity at Baldwin Wallace in the early 1970s. I had lost touch with him after graduation, but often wondered about what he might be doing and where he may have settled. Now I know, and it warms my soul to know he found the love of his life and had such a long marriage. I am sadden for his loss to his family and friends, but I am so pleased that he appears to have had so many good friends who thought so highly of him. You have my deepest sympathy.

I just learned of Tom's passing today Mary Ann and wanted to express my condolences. While I never had the privilege of meeting him, it is obvious through you that he was a wonderful man. I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers.

I worked with Tom for many years at BF Goodrich/Zeon chemicals. He was such a nice gentleman and enjoyed working with him. I ran into him about six months ago at the credit union on Goose Creek Road and had a very nice visit reminiscing about old times. So sorry for your loss but thankful for the many memories you have and God bless you!

Mary Ann,
In the brief time we have known each other, I had the pleasure of meeting your sweet Thomas only a handful of times. I could tell, though, you shared a sweet bond together. What a joy, to be able to look back and have good memories to carry you through such a time as this. Having lost no one close to me, I don't know how you feel, but I imagine the flood of emotions is thick, and passage of time like lightning; sharp, and at times, frightening.

May the knowledge that He lives carry you through the next few days and weeks. I believe Thomas lives too. "Life is eternal and so is love. Death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight." -Unknown

I have known Tom and Mary Ann for several years. Tom was always such a nice person to talk to and you could really tell he was truly a kind-hearted individual. He would always like to talk about the stock market, lawn mowers or whatever topic fit that day. I will miss our friendly conversations and I know he will be truly missed by many.

I worked with Mary Ann for many years at Clear Channel Radio.

Tom was such a devoted and loving husband. to her. And after 41 years together, what a great testimony.

We all played golf together and Tom had a lot of patience on those tougher holes!

Peace and love to you Mary Ann. You are a blessed woman to have found the love of your life in Tom.

We were customers of Tom (in Green Spring)for several years and looked forward to seeing him on Fridays because he was always ready to talk and share stories. We had dogs in common, and he sent us the most thoughtful card in the spring when we lost our boxer. He was a kind, loving man who was a friend to everyone on our street. So sorry for your loss.
