Andrew Linette Obituary

Linette, Andrew Jr.,

Andrew M. Linette Jr., 89, passed away peacefully on Dec. 16 at his home in Cape Coral, FL., after a recent illness complicated by dementia. He was born on March 24, 1927, in Louisville, where he resided until moving to Cape Coral, Florida in 1996. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Tomahawk and USS Missouri in the Pacific Ocean during WWII, enlisting in 1945 and honorably discharged in 1954. He is survived by his son, James M. Linette of Cape Coral, granddaughter Michele L. Wood and great-grandson Michael A. Wood both of Ocala, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine M. Linette.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at St. Brigid Catholic Church at 1520 Hepburn at Baxter Avenues. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hope Hospice in his memory.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Andy from my visits to their house on Newburg Rd. He was always smiling and fun to be around. I am very sorry for your loss.
