Allen Werth Obituary

Werth, Allen F. "Al",

83, passed away June 21, 2017 at his home.

Al attended both high school and college in Hays, Kansas and served in the US Army in Mannheim, Germany.

He was a member of St. John Paul II (formerly St. Barnabas), St. Ann's Confraternity and Knights of Columbus Bishop Spalding Council 2761. Al was also a member of the Jeffersontown Senior's Center and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was employed with the Royal Insurance Company for 32 years and retired from the company in Atlanta, GA.

Al joins his parents John and Rose, his brother and sisters now in Heaven.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Margaret "Marge" Fleischer Werth, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Paul, 3042 Hikes Lane, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or to the donor's favorite charity.
