DRACUT -- Gertrude T. (Nolin) Wojtas, 80, of Dracut, MA, gained her angel wings as she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 11, 2010, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Wojtas with whom she shared over 50 wonderful years of marriage.

She was the devoted daughter of the late Victor and Marie Nolin. Born in Lowell MA, she lived in Dracut, MA her entire life. She was employed at the Hathaway Mills in Lowell, as well as the Beaver Brook Mills in Dracut, prior to meeting her late husband, Anthony at Canney's Ice Cream stand in Dracut. Together Gertrude and Anthony raised their family of 6 children in Dracut where she resided until her passing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished spending time with her family making sure we always had a hot meal and warm place to call home. She will be greatly missed by all she had touched with her kind and gentle heart.

Gertrude is survived by her daughters, Brenda Khadije of Lowell, MA, Joann Beliveau and her husband, Steve of Westford, MA, and Nancy Wojtas Paris of Tyngsboro, MA; her sons, Michael Wojtas and his wife, Jean, of Dracut, MA; Kenneth Wojtas and his wife, Rhonda of Dracut, MA; and Stephen Wojtas and his wife, Juliann, of Haverhill, MA.

She also leaves 16 grandchildren that she loved and adored, Sgt. Ryan Khadije - United States Marines and his wife, Pauline - Staff Sgt. United States Air Force, stationed in Okinawa, Japan; Erica Khadije and her fiancé, Steve Torres of Lowell, MA; Eric Wojtas and his wife, Nicole of Weare, NH; Devon Stuart and her husband, Jay of Amesbury, MA; Specialist -- Michael Wojtas Jr. - United States Army stationed in Monterey, CA; Lauren Wojtas of Dracut, MA; Anthony, Nicholas, Tricia Wojtas of Dracut, MA; Kayla, Cameron, Leah, Eric and Keri Beliveau of Westford, MA, Joshua and Gillian Wojtas of Haverhill, MA. She was also the proud Great-Grandmother of Alden Stuart.

She also leaves her sister, Rita Tellier, of Pelham, NH; her sisters-in-law, Jane Gendron of Lowell, MA; Shirley and Marie Nolin of Dracut, MA; and Patricia Wojtas of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brothers, Ralph and Peter Nolin, and her sister, Lorraine Leedberg.
