I can't believe it's been this long without you. You are still thought of and your still missed just as much, no I take that back. You're missed more as time goes by. I can't think of you and not break down and cry. Your death left a hole in my heart that no one nor time can fill. I miss the sound of your voice and your laughter. You were a beautiful woman inside and out. You were and still are loved. I miss you so much!!! I'd give anything to hear your voice, to hear you tell me you were going to dope slap
me. Though we met on line and talked on the phone, you had a very huge impact on my life and heart. And every year about this time, it hurts more. I love you always!!

Wow. What can I say? It's been a while since I have wrote to you. I haven't forgotten you nor will I ever. When they speak your name I can't help but cry. I miss you so much. You had such an impact in my life. I miss sending you on my buddy list. And in the chat room and in Pogo. I miss hearing your voice and your laughter. I wish you were still with us. They say time heals all wounds. I don't believe that. It seems like forever since you left us to be in a better place. I thought out of all the people in the room I got attached to you. I remember our laughs and talks on the phone and in instant messages. I kept my promise to you. You told me to keep going in there in case someone needed support. It's not the same with you gone. I can hear you telling me when I do something that you are going to dope slap me. What I would give to hear those words again. I always came to you for advice and you would listen and not judge. You would help me in a motherly way. You are so missed. I miss you so much. Every day I think of you my dear sweet friend. You are and always will be that rare gem that people find and cherish. I love you Betty Ann and I miss you so much.

Betty Ann,
I miss you so much. You were always there for me when I needed to talk. You are so missed. The room isn't the same without you. Even though I had the honor of talking to you on here and on the phone I just wished I would have gotten to meet you in person. I miss playing with you in Pogo. I go in certain rooms that we played in and its not the same because I don't see you in there. I was talking the other day about you and about some of our late night talks. Even though I smiled mentioning your name I couldn't help but feel sad because you weren't here. I know you are in a better place. But it doesn't seem and feel right that you aren't here with your family and your friends. You are so missed by all who knew you. And still loved very much.

Hello to Frank, Pat, and all the family and friends of the wonderful Bettyann. She helped so many of us and was a terrific friend to so many, in person and online. I had so much fun chatting with my friend. She was a great support, such a riot with her "wicked" sense of humor. Bettyann was ready to help others , even when she had so much on her plate. I still miss her, and hope that time has been healing to all those who knew her. To me she is at peace and watching over us. Merry and Christmas and Happy New Year.

Betty-Ann was a savior to me when I learned that I had cancer back in 2002. Her kind words of support and encouragement inspired me to put up the fight of my life. She taught me that cancer is only part of your life and that no one should let it destroy them. She was and still is a perfect example for anyone suffering from disease. She lived her life for the moment, and made the most of the time she was given. She shared herself with complete strangers in the hopes of giving them the courage for their battle. I was never able to thank Betty in person, but I know she knows that she meant the world to many people. She was the "mother" of our chat room, and we will never be able to replace her. I would like to thank her family for sharing her with the world. She spent many hours online helping others, and you supported her doing that. God bless you, and I hope you all have a very Merry and blessed Christmas!

I knew her as Rocky before we even met while talking on the CB radio as kids. After marriage to a close friend of Betty's , our friendship grew. Her and Frank would come over and visit before and after their marriage. We raised children together, went camping together and had fun together. As a personal joke, we had a nickname for each other. Hers was tatter and mine sausage. I will always remeber all the good times and charish the good memories we shared. My prays go out to the Carroll and the Howell families, we have lost a loved one, but God had gained and angle. Frankie, I will always be here for you and Pat when ever you need me.

Karen Baro

August 26, 2005

My dear friend Betty, you are no longer with us but the memories of 40 plus years of friendship will always be in my mind and my heart. I will always remember the good times we shared. Swimming, ice skating, school dances, sleep overs, going for bike rides or just sitting and talking about things that were important to us at the time. You and Frank would come over and visit after I got married and had children, and you would come up and say good night to my boys and give them sound advice about not talking to flys on the ceiling, which they still remember to this day. When we moved to Townsend you bought a house right beside us, I had my last child and you had your first with in months of each other, and they were able to grow up together also. You where like an Aunt to my children and like a second mother to my daughter. I will always remember the Thursday night grocery shopping trips, then going over to Papa Gino's after for a late night pizza, and staying until closing time. We laughed together and cried together. And thou you are no longer here with us your memories will always remain and they will seem more sweeter as time goes by. Frankie and Pat, I am so sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to you, she was a loving, fun, caring person, with a great sence of humor and a winning smile that will never be forgotten. We all loved her and will all miss her. I hope God and good memories will help you all through this hard time.

She was my mothers bestfriend since they were children and she was more then just an "Aunt" to me. She was my "second mother", and I was "the daughter she never had" as we use to joke. She always knew what to say and when to say it to make me laugh even through the hardest times. Betty you will be missed more then words can say, but I know you are looking down on us all with Frankie. You and your family will always be in my heart!!

I am proud to say that Betty-Ann was my cousin. She was nearly 20 years my senior, and I looked up to her quite a bit as a child. I remember once walking behind her on the beach, stepping into each footprint she made in the sand. She laughed and said, "look, you're following in my footsteps!". When I think about it now, I realize what an accomplishment it would be to become the kind of wife, mother, and human being that Betty-Ann was. Her amazing strength, courage, loyalty and optimism are among the many qualities which made her not only someone to look up to, but someone like whom to aspire to be. She will be missed and remembered with love by all who knew her.

You are and will always be my Champion, since the day we met...You are the bravest most compassionate woman I have ever known. My heart and my prayers go out to your family. May they find comfort in knowing how much you are loved by so many, near and far.

Always in our hearts,

Rest in Peace, Sweet Angel...

Irish, you will be missed but we will always remember how the Irish Breeze warmed our hearts, gave us hope, made us laugh and lifted our spirits. Though we go on without you, knowing that you are at peace now gives us the courage to go on.

May the Irish Breeze blow freely and place it's kiss upon the cheeks of all how love you!

To the family of BettyAnn,

I too shared support, tears and alot of HOPE in the Cancer Support Room. I'm sure that her SON was waiting with open arms in heaven welcoming her as we all say our goodbyes FOR NOW. May you find comfort in that thought during this very difficult time. God Bless

Frank, Patrick and the Howell family, there aren't any words that can say how sorry I am for your loss. Betty Ann was a great person, funny, great friend to my sister Janet. She will really be missed. All my love to your family, Nancy Gagnon ( Iverson)

This really saddens me deeply. I understand God needed our great lady Betty to become one of his Angels. I know she will always be with us and watch over us but it will not stop me from missing her. During this long battle of fighting Breast Cancer it was comforting to know someone out there knew how I felt. Betty always took time to give a kind word and a good shoulder to cry on. She had a heart full of love and was always there for me. I will miss my dearest friend and will cherish the times we had shared. May God Bless her family and her friends and I will continue to keep you all in my prayers. Love Always,

(((((((betty ann))))))))) there are so many things that can be said about this beautiful lady. she was more than my friend. she was my hero in so many ways. god blessed us with this angel. there will never be anyone like her ever again. i feel that everyone who got to know her got to know such love. she had so much love to give to everyone. she was my bestfriend. i will never forget the nights we would chat in the room or in instant message. she always made me laugh when i just wanted to sit here and cry. she was our angel in the cancer room. and now shes our angel once again. (((((((Betty Ann))))))) i love you so much. you will never be forgotten. my life was made richer by having you in my life and in my heart.

We will all miss Irish very much. I remember helping her cry when her son was in his accident. We had a connection because we had both lost sons the same age in the same manner. She never failed to say hi whatever time it was and I signed into CSR. We have loved and lost in this room over the years. All of them hurt but some hurt just a little bit more. Peace and love to all who have been touched by CSR and Irish. Doug.
