Nadia and Daniel Webber

Nadia Webber Obituary

Nadia (Wajda) Webber
formerly of Hudson, NH

Nadia Anne Wajda-Webber and her husband, Daniel Webber loved their life together and the close friends they had made in Naples, Florida, where they moved a year ago. It was in Naples that the longtime Hudson, NH resident established a dog-walking service, hosted wine tastings at local markets, and began making and selling her own beef jerky. Dan had recently started working part-time at a local Harley-Davison dealership. Dan was also a partner in CollectionDX, an on-line business providing reviews of Japanese Toys. The business brought them opportunities to meet new friends, travel, and work together. They joked about the irony of getting paid to play with toys. It was Dan's dream job.

Nadia and Dan both died in a motorcycle accident on Oct. 31, 2010 in Naples. Although she left us too soon, through her faith, strength and determination, Nadia had overcome some major challenges in a previous life, and she was determined to enjoy every day that she was gifted with thereafter. And she did. With a vengeance. Nadia's capers with Dan, her family and special cousins, her extended network of friends, her Tuesday nights with Geraldine, and her dogs, Sophie and Banjo are among the things she treasured and that brought her to a time in her life where she was truly happy. Nadia died with her arms wrapped around the man she loved with a favorite childhood picture of her and her father in her pocket.

Nadia was the baby of the family, born in Lowell, MA on September 16, 1976. She is survived by her immediate family -- her parents, John and Geraldine (Lantagne) Wajda of Naples; and her siblings and their families, Stephanie and Sean Manners and their sons, Sean and Simon of Pelham, NH; Tori and Scott McNeil and their sons, Patrick and Liam of Hudson, NH; Johnnie and Tricia Wajda and their sons, Jack Riley and Elliot of West Roxbury, MA. Her many aunts, uncles, and cousins are also among a very long list of those fortunate to have experienced, and who will miss, Nadia.

Nadia grew up in Hudson, NH and graduated in 1995 from Alvirne High School. She married Dan on April 10, 2006. She loved horses, motorcycles, tattoos, painting, cooking, summers at Moody Beach, and having fun. She hated the idea of sitting at a desk, being bound by schedules, and mayonnaise. If you met Nadia, you remembered her. She would come crashing into you with such enthusiasm and purpose, and in no time she would bring you into her ever-expanding circle of friends. She was never without words -- but if she was -- she would make some up. While Nadia may have taken a few errant turns along her life journey, she always found her way back home, where her loving parents were waiting for her. Cousin, Angela Ricciardi, godmother, Vicki Schena, and longtime friend, Lindsey Hathway Weaver were constant soul-companions through it all.

A horse, a ferret, parakeets, turtles, frogs, a duck (yes, a duck), and her beloved "doglets" are among the menagerie of animals that she cared for here on earth. We would like to invite you to support The Humane Society Naples in her honor. We know she'd think that was pretty AWESOMMMMMME!

Our sincere condolences to the entire Wajda family, what a very painful loss.
I (Kristy Kypriotes then...) went to high school with Nadia and have many fond memories of riding the bus and experiencing school days together. She was a friend to everyone- of all different social groups and someone you would never forget because of her kind spirit. We will keep your family in our prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

To Jasiu, Geri and family, sometimes it's hard to understand why God picks the flower that is still in bloom.....selected much too soon....but only He knows the perfect time to gather rosebuds from this earthly ground for His own Heavenly Garden. As He gives Eternal Rest to you, Nadia.....we pray for peace and comfort to the loved ones left behind who will miss you so much......your cousin, Janet

I had the good fortune of meeting Dan and Nadia back in 2007. We became good friends, it was easy to like those two sweet kids. Nadia's smile and energy was contagious, Dan was her stabilizing force. They were a wonderful pair together and the world was a better place for them having been here with us. We will miss you both, but we will never forget.
