Roland Ervin Timm

Pelham, beloved husband, father
and grandfather; 63

PELHAM -- Roland Ervin Timm, 63, of Pelham, died Monday morning, January 11th, at Boston Medical Center in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Kypriotes) Timm with whom he recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in August of 2009.

Born in Lowell, March 30, 1946 he was the son of the late Earl and the late Phyllis (Morse) Timm.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served as an Air Policeman with the U.S. Air Force during which time he received the Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

Before retiring, Mr. Timm was a Health Technician at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford MA for 23 years.

He was a member of the National Association of Government Employees Union. He was also a past Commander at the Walker Rogers VFW Post 662 in Lowell.

Besides his wife Diane, Mr. Timm is survived by two daughters Laurie Ann and Diana, a step-daughter Sheri Callahan and her husband Brian and their three children of Pelham, two sisters Louise Powers and her husband Brian of Pelham and Deborah Curran and her husband Dennis of Tewksbury, and several nieces and nephews.

He was also brother of the late Ronald Timm.

TIMM -- Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon on Monday immediately followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford. Those wishing may make contributions in his memory to the Lowell General Hospital Cancer Center, 295 Varnum Ave, Lowell, MA 01854. Arrangements by Funeral Directors James F. O'Donnell, Jr. and John W. Crane (603) 635-3333.
