Carl Theodore Obituary
of Plymouth; 53
WESTFORD -- Carl E. Theodore, 53, a resident of Plymouth, died February 23, 2013 from natural causes. He was born on February 13, 1960, the son of the late Theodore P. and Anita (Carlstedt) Theodore, and the brother of the late Peter C. Theodore. He was the husband of Donna (Kinan) Theodore.
Carl received his education in Quincy Schools and was a graduate of Boston College High School, Class of 1978 and the University of Lowell, Class of 1982, earning a B.S. in Plastics Engineering. He was a brother of the Sigma Phi Omicron fraternity. Carl was employed as a Plastics Engineer by DePuy, a division of Johnson & Johnson in Raynham, MA. He was previously employed for many years at Millipore Corporation in Bedford, MA.
In his free time, he loved being outdoors. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, skiing, waterskiing, ice skating and raking. He was well known for his horseshoe skills and his love of music - particularly Sinatra Saturday Night with Ron Della Chiesa.
In addition to Donna, he is survived by his children Carl B. Theodore of Newton, NH, and Gina M. Theodore of Westford, MA, his father and mother-in-law Edmund and Lucy Kinan of Plymouth, MA. He was the cousin of Susan and Jack Blease of Natick, MA and Kathy Mahoney of Ludlow, VT. Carl is also survived by several dear nieces and nephews and his best friend Tom Bannister of Ogunquit, ME.
THEODORE -- CARL E. Family and friends are invited to attend a service in celebration of his life on Saturday, March 2 at 10:30AM at the Grace Community Church, 275 Billerica Rd., Chelmsford, MA. Service will be followed by a Tribute to Carl at 12:30 PM at the Westford Regency, 219 Littleton Road, Westford, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl's name may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northern New England Chapter, a charity he has supported for over 20 years, c/o 114 Perimeter Rd., Unit G&H, Nashua, NH 03063. Carl was a wonderful Plastics Engineering student at UMass Lowell. His professionalism reflected his integrity and brought credit to his UML education. His involvement in his fraternity activities spoke to his embracing its tenets and goals.
Carl will be missed by his UML fraternity brothers, classmates, friends and teachers.
