No words of mine could do sufficient honor to one of the most outstanding people I've ever known. I enjoyed Bill's friendship for 35 years, and felt affection for him as a brother. Bill was always well intentioned with a strong sense of right and wrong. His quick mind, sense of humor, intellectual curiosity, and thoughtful nature made him a very special person. I for one will be missing him the rest of my life.

To the Floyd family, so sorry for the loss of Bill. I first met Bill when we worked as Police Officers, he in Chelmsford and I in Lowell. We lost touch when he moved away. He was a good person, he'll be missed.
