Pauline Wavah Ley

Pauline Wavah Ley Lansing Pauline was born on October 16, 1916 to Dee and Wavie Bacon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Joseph R. Ley; sisters, Daisy Burleson, Ruth Doty; and son-in-law, John (Jack) Schutz. She is survived by daughter, Joanne Schutz of Lansing, and son, Thomas Ley of Okemos; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer (Bill) Ryals, Julie (Karl) Engler, Judy (Scott) House, Amy (Andrew) McIntosh, Laura (John) Turner, Robert Ley, Andrew Ley, Ryan Ley; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Pauline was a life-long member of the Church of the Resurrection and the Women's Altar Society. We will miss Pauline's stories of years gone by and her wonderful homemade chocolate chip cookies. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Church of the Resurrection, 1531 E. Michigan Avenue in Lansing with Rev. Pancratius Kerketta officiating. Rite of Committal will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E.
