Gerard Retzer Obituary

Gerard "Gerry" Francis Retzer Charlotte Gerard "Gerry" Francis Retzer, 54, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on a layover in Louisville, Kentucky September 4, 2013. He was born on January 15, 1959 to his parents Francis and Ann (Steinhage) Retzer in Beaver Dam, WI. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1977 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in Accounting and Computer Science. Gerry loved cooking for friends and family and was the best husband and fatherever. Gerry is survived by his wife Patty, son Patrick Retzer and daughter Alana Retzer. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 8, 2013 5:00 pm - 7:00 p.m., and Monday, September 9, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a Scripture and Affirmation Service at 7:00 p.m. at Pray Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at the St Mary's Catholic Church, Charlotte, Michigan, with Rev. Fr. Frances Mossholder officiating. Burial will take place in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Charlotte. Memorials are suggested to Women at Risk International. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
