Dear Family of Amy,
Please know that your grief is shared by so many who were able to enjoy Amy's life with her.
I have many, many memories of laughter to the point of tears and tears to the point of laughter.
She so loved people. She was with me for the most important part of my life, the birth of my son. She offered me much strength and encouragement during that very difficult time. She helped me hold my son's hand when he walked for the first time at the apartment Amy and I shared in Boulder.
Amy talked about her family all the time. You were central to her life.
My son and I are so sorry for your loss.

Dear Family Members and Loved Ones of Amy,
I find it difficult to express how sorry I am that you are separated from one so dear and precious as Amy. What a bright light she has been in the lives of all who have known her. She is remembered for so many things but I will name just a few; her humor, intelligence, kindness, generosity, integrity, and willingness to work so hard for what she believed in, come to mind first and foremost. Her students adored her and learned so much from her. They learned more than the academics that Amy was so skilled in teaching. Even more importantly, she worked with them on character development and helped them to believe in themselves as much as she believed in them. We are all so privileged to have known Amy. And we will miss her.
You will stay in my thoughts through this time of saying good bye. We will always remember with love our good friend, Amy.

Chucho, Sofia, Mr. & Mrs Reuschlein..
I've known Amy since we were in High School and only recently found her again. Even though I had not spoken with her in years, she was the same fun loving spirit that I remember from our younger years.
I cannot begin to convey my condolences..
I will always remember Amy as one of the finest people that I've ever known. I will miss her dearly.

Amy, While I grieve fully for your dear family and friends I am happy you are in pain no more. You were a very special friend to me and I will miss you oh so much. Chucho and Sophia, I have you both in my thoughts and prayers and you will be there for a long time. To the rest of Amy's family and friends I also send my deepest condolences and you all too are in my prayers. I met Amy March 1991 in Park City and while our lives have travelled in different directions whenever we connected it was like we had been living next door all along. I feel so lucky I made it to see her for her 40th a few months ago. Friday I felt a tingle or two and when I got a call Sat from Danielle I knew exactly what that tingle was. Amy Cheers until we meet again and I'll have my bourbon on ice please when I do arrive. Your friend Andy from Vermont

Chucho and Sophia,
I am sorry for your loss. Sophia your mommy was a wonderful person. Your mom and I used to car pool together to our ESL classes in Colorado. One of my funniest memories of your mom is that she really did not like putting up bulletin boards. We had many laughs about that. I used to love laughing with her. Chucho, I am sorry.

Chucho,Sofia,Sam, Patricia,Sue,Kathy and Jim,
We are so sad for your loss of your wife, mother, daughter and sister. Based on the stories we have heard from Sue, we know Amy's presence - kindness, patience, humor - will be missed. Your memories of your times together will help to keep her love in and around each of you. Your faith that she is at peace and in our loving Savior's arms, welcomed home with Julie alongside, may give you comfort. All of you and your spouses and Amy's nieces and nephews are in our prayers. None of us understand; but through faith you have His Love and Peace to continue living on this journey.
Love always,
