Anne Marie Thelen

Anne Marie (Koenigsknecht) Thelen Cincinnati, OH Our beloved Ann, born July 2, 1955 to Paul and Patricia (O'Brien) Koenigsknecht of Fowler, MI, passed away at the age of 54, on September 2, 2009. Ann was a graduate of Fowler High School and Michigan State University; she retired after 30 years as a Catholic elementary school teacher at The Summit Country Day School. In her spare time she loved, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends who meant the world to her. She met Ken Thelen, the love of her life, in 11th grade and was married to him for 32 years; also surviving are son, Brendan; daughter, Brigid; mother, Patricia Koenigsknecht; brothers, Frank (Theresa), Patrick (Martha), Tim (Robin); mother-in-law, Frances Thelen; brothers-in-law, Mike (Marie), Mark (Cathy), and Marty; her nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Koenigsknecht; father-in-law, Joe Thelen; sister-in-law, Deanne Thelen. The funeral service was held at The Summit Country Day School, Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel in Cincinnati, OH. A memorial service will be held at Most Holy Trinity Parish in Fowler, Michigan on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Maryknoll Missionaries.
