We were so sorry to hear of your loss. She was a very special person, whether she was taking care of our son Jim as a toddler or preparing her girls to be great babysitters (to all our sons) and, later, mothers to their own children. We know you are hurting, but you can feel blessed to have had such a wonderful wife and mother. Our love and prayers to you all.

It was indeed a sad news we got about Carolyn. I have known Carolyn from 1968 when I came from India to study at MSU, Lansing.She was my host family .The time I spent with Parks family are part of my family's memories.I met her a couple of times after I left Lansing and we continued our relationship despite the physical distance. All these years she was a sister to me. A few years ago my wife Aruna and myself visited the Parks family in Holt and she received us with great love and affection.We will miss her love and affection immensly. My life from the time I came to United States was enriched by the friendship and kindness of the Parks and Hutt Families. There are so many memories created over the years. I have so many fond memories of holidays spent at Dad and mom Hutt's house. I will miss my long chats with Carolyn and our laughter. She was such a positive person and made time for every one. There was nobody greater to work with at Schmidt's than Carolyn. She would always bring a smile to your face and cheer you up. I have always thought about her through the years but my heart goes out to the family and will always remember the great times that we could share a laugh.
