Cathy McDiarmid Obituary

Cathy (Halsted) McDiarmid West Virginia Cathy (Halsted) McDiarmid passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010, in Huntington, West Virginia. She was born, April 27, 1950, in St. Johns, MI. She was the daughter of Virgil and Vada Halsted. Cathy grew up in Maple Rapids, MI, graduated from Fulton High School in 1968 and attended L.B.U., in Lansing, MI. Cathy married Larry McDiarmid on May 8, 1971, in St. Johns, MI. They moved to West Virginia in 1992 to work in Appalachian Missions. Cathy is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Amy (Lindy) Sullivan; and two granddaughters; her parents of St. Johns, MI; two brothers, Eric (Naomi) of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Dennis of St. Johns, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be June 16, 2010, in West Virginia. Condolences may be sent to: Larry McDiarmid, 6026 State Rt. 608, Apt. 111, Barboursville, WV, 25504.

I am very sorry for your loss. I have been friends with Cathy for 55 years, losing touch here and there. I will always remember the fun times we had. She was a wonderful person.
