Clarence Ferguson Obituary

Clarence Ferguson St. Johns Clarence Ferguson, age 89, born September 16, 1921 in Stratton Twp., Edgar Co., Paris, IL, passed away on November 22, 2010 at the Masonic Home in Alma, MI. Clarence was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy; a lifetime member of the American Legion #0211 in Paris, IL; member of the following: A. F. & A.M. Stratton Lodge #408, Paris, IL, Arbutus #45, O.E.S. in Lansing, and St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Lansing, and was very active with the O.E.S. and Rainbows with his girls. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Reva; daughters Jane Bielecki of Grand Ledge and Jacqulyn (Philip) Murray of St. Johns; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Dorothy Higgins of Indianapolis, IN, Lois Durham of Dayton, OH, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Robert Murray; 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and son-in-law, David Bielecki. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2010 - 2:00 p.m. at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. The family will receive friends Monday, December 13th from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Stephens Lutheran Church of Lansing, Disabled American Veterans of Michigan or American Legion Post #0211 of Paris, IL in memory of Clarence Ferguson.
