I am David's cousin from Northern Ireland and having lost touch with the family for many years, have just found out he has passed away. I always have fond childhood memories of David. We used to play and run around our Grandfather's house in Belfast as children, apparently I always kicked him as a child. As David was six years older than myself my most vivid memory is of him studying for exams and then he went away to University.
I always remember him teaching my younger Brother to play chess and will never forget how incredibly patient he was. I always have nothing but a good memory of David, he was a kind, gentle soul. It makes me so sad to hear of his passing. I will always remember him. God Bless.
