Denice Detmer Obituary

Denice E. Detmer Lansing Age 59, died December 10, 2010; born October 26, 1951 in Houghton Lake, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Capitolia VanDuinen and brother, Jim VanDuinen. Surviving are her life partner, Denny Cook; daughter, Sandi (Bruce) Currie; grandson, Devin; brother, Gary VanDuinen; sisters, Jan Lockwood, Diana VanDuinen and Donna VanDuinen. She served as academic secretary for the Department of Theatre at Michigan State University for over 20 years. Memorial visitation will be held Friday, December 17 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing.
