Dennis Kibbey Obituary

Dennis (Mike) Kibbey Born and raised in DeWitt on July 8, 1945. He was preceded in death by his son, Cliff, his mother Mildred Vermeersch, special parents Clayton and Margaret Davis, special brother and sister, Richard Davis and Deloris Crosley. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Elaine, daughter Kelly Woods (Bennie), beloved grandchildren Elizabeth, Karolyn and Tristin (best buddies forever), brother Larry (Carolyn) of Texas, sister-in-law Mary Maxwell, several nieces and nephews and best friends Tim Sherwood and Steve Rollings. He was active in youth groups from 1969 to 1985, such as Boy Scouts of America, coach for original little league baseball, flag football, junior league baseball, girl's and women's softball, PTA and band boosters. He was a member of VFW 671 Men's Auxiliary, Bath American Legion, Eagles, Moose and VFW 671 Honor Guard. There will be a memorial in celebration of his life June 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the VFW 671 Post in DeWitt. Donations can be made in his memory to the VFW 671 Men's Auxiliary.
