Dora Bradow Obituary

Dora May (Bristol) Bradow Dora May (Bristol) Bradow passed on September 20, 2010 after 81 years of joyful living. Her loving husband, Roger, preceded her by only 1½years, after almost 60 years of marriage. After living in Lansing most of her life, she had moved to Dayton, Ohio in February this year to live with family. She died in their home, after a diagnosis of thymus cancer last September. She held many jobs but primarily enjoyed raising her children, all of whom survive her: Charles and wife Larene Bradow, of Sturgis, MI; Diana and husband Dennis Myers of Colorado Springs, CO; Patti and husband Mike Farnum of Nashville, MI; and Michael and wife Heather Bradow of Dayton, OH. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren with 2 more on their way. In lieu of a memorial service, which she did not want, the family asks that a donation be sent to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in her name. The family has started a memorial site and encourages that memories or thoughts of Dora be sent to family, to be posted on the site as a tribute to her life. Please send to: 4960 Harvest Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80917.

The wonderful smile, the sound of laughter, the smell of fresh pies. When I think of Dora all of these experiences leave a powerful impression from my childhood. Dora was one of those people whos presence made the world a better and brighter place. She will be dearly missed.
