'WOW' - Woman Of Worship and overflowing with passion for her community, Doris spoke softly but powerfully about issues impacting education, families, youth, and seniors. I was blessed to serve with her on the Lansing Juneteenth Celebration Committee for several years and will always remember her for generously sharing her physical, spiritual, and creative resources with a smile. Doris' magnanimous quality of volunteerism will always remain with me along with my fond memories of sharing a chuckle or two about our love for hats! May you - family - also be uplifted and encouraged with all of the rich, loving memories you created with Doris. God Bless and Keep You!

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family, especially her children and grand children. I worked with Doris in Lansing's Adult Education, and she always cared about the students and gave of herself to help them.

I met Doris while volunteering with the Lansing Juneteenth Committee. Doris was always willing to volunteer her time and knowledge in what ever area that was needed; she often spoke of her children and loved sharing her passion to help others.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories of Doris bring you comfort.

I knew Doris from the Ingham County Women's Commission, where we both served for several years. She was a remarkable woman, always giving of herself and her time to make the community a better place. She was an advocate for women and children and a woman full of love and passion. She will be greatly missed.

To the family of Doris Carlice, My Heart and my Thoughts are with you. There is a beautiful sense of closeness, and comfort in a friendship of the Heart. Mrs Carlice was a good woman, and a lady that i had the highest respect for. May God Bless her family, and friends, and comfort them, and give them strength to help them during these difficult days ahead. Nathan Edward Eustace
