Edith Foerch Obituary

Edith M. Foerch Williamston Age 83, went home to be with her Lord on September 11, 2009. Edith was born in Bingham County, MI March 19, 1926 to James and Edith (Draper) Hilbert. Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, July 28, 2006; infant daughter, Juanice; and brother, James. Surviving are 4 children, Rodney (Pat) of California, Reginal (Deborah) of Lansing, Denise Foerch of Colorado, and Craig (Vickie) of Williamston; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Bud (Theola) Hilbert, Charles (Betty) Hilbert, Lee Hilbert; 3 sisters, Fae Hawkins, Beth Fordyce and Enid Law; and sister-in-law, Mary Hilbert. Edith loved to sing, was very creative and artistic. She was very involved in her church and was loved by everyone. Funeral services will be Monday, September 14, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Okemos, 4684 Marsh Road, Okemos, MI, 48864, with Pastor Joe Dabrowski officiating. Interment will be at Deepdale Memorial Gardens at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 13, 2-4, 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing. Those wishing to make contributions may do so to the church in memory of Edith.
