Cannot believe my ears. Ed King has passed away. That is what my oldest daughter told me last night on the phone. Ed was part of my family's growing up. He was there at the Fenton Horse Auction when my girls were very small until way into their teen years while they themselves worked the auction with him. But we were able to go a little farther in our relationship with him. He was at our family dinners like Christmas and Thanksgiving for many years throughout the ninety's. Even when he was under the weather on a Thanksgiving my daughter took him a plateful of turkey dinner to his house that night. I have not seen Ed in over 5 years but that does not change anything. He will be missed greatly and always in our memories.

Wow, I cannot believe he is gone. I last saw him about 1 year ago at an event that he was auctioneering at and it was a blessed surprise to see him. Its a great story really because I did not actually see him first. I was two rooms away and I heard his voice over the microphone and ran to that room to see him. I was able to run up behind him and surprise him, as it had been at least 5 years since I had seen him. Ed was someone who was there at all the horse shows and the horse auctions and when I have fond memories of my childhood, he was in them. He will be missed and my prayers are with the family.

He was a dear friend and will sorely be missed. We spent many a Saturday night at the Fenton Horse Auction with Mr. King as the Auctioneer....several of us kids grew up listening to him as we did our homework in the stands....He was always quick with a smile and didn't ever meet a stranger...

My condolences to the King and Koby families. I graduated from St. Agnes High School with Ed's brother Jim. I cannot forget Ed's strong, deep, confident voice. He was a true gentleman.

Our condolences to Ed's family, especially Jim, my (Hilary) classmate from the class of '64'. Ed was a great help at the first St. Agnes Alumni Reunion, taking pictures of all the classes. It was impromptu and volunteered after taking a picture of his own class. He was a generous contributor to the Golf Outing over the years even though he didn't always attend. We really appreciated all he did. We hope you heal soon from this awful sorrow and find joy in the memories you have of Ed.

To the King Family. I went to school with Ed. He was a great guy. He was always friendly to everyone. He was one of those guys that it was a pleasure to be around him. I wish now that I had kept up with class reunions. My players are with you all.

To the King Family:
I first met Ed at the St. Agnes Alumni Associatiton golf outings. What a classy gentleman. Though he never golfed, he always bought t-box signs and came to the outings to help support the alumni association. My sincere sympathy on the loss of your beloved father and grandfather.
