I was so sorry to hear of Ellie's death. She had a remarkable career and was the family's history recorder, keeping track of all the relatives and ancestors.

Sorry to hear of your loss, I will miss her she was a wonderful person and when i was little people said i kind of looked like her. I will miss all her emails, she was the life line between my aunt phyllis (atwood) twelves and myself. I remember the family reunions we had at the Kahres dairy farm. My heart goes out to you all. My mom (Jean Watkins Miller) was Ellie's mom's cousin (that's our family connection). Ellie and I e-mailed back and forth quite a bit (as she did with many others). I, too, will miss her wonderful family updates and her sense of humor.

We were happy to get to see you and spend time together when we were in Florida during the winter months of February and March. We enjoyed the times you came to Anna Maria Island to see us. We have a great picture of Eleanor and Phil at our condo on Anna Maria. Glenna and Phil

My mother's mother was a Watkins, so I guess that's how the relationship existed. I will miss Elie's family updates. She was a line that tied us all together. I hope her last days were peaceful.
