Elizabeth Bohr Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Bohr Lansing Elizabeth died Thursday, August 27, 2009, at the age of 79. She was born October 20 , 1929 in St. Johns, MI, to George and Marguerite Van De Vusse. She was a graduate of the St. Lawrence School of Nursing in 1950. She is survived by her loving husband Ronald of 56 years; 4 sons, Steven (Julie), John (Linda), Michael (Francine), Thomas (Jocelyn); a daughter, Ann Bohr; and a brother, Allen Van De Vusse. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Nicholas, Mercedes, Isabel, Atticus, Ireland and John Paul. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 31, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. William Lugger as celebrant. Internment will be in St. Marys Cemetery in Westphalia, MI. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 30, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home Lansing Chapel where a rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Those wishing may make contributions to the St. Casimir Church Building Fund. Friends may sign the online guest book at www.palmerbush.com.

I WORKED WITH LIZ WHEN SHE WORKED PART-TIME AT MARY AVE. CARE CENTER(85-92)SHE WAS A GOOD NURSE AND FUN TO WORK WITH. I AM SORRY TO HEAR OF HER PASSING & MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU ALL.
