Gaylord Britten Obituary

Gaylord Norman Britten Mauldin, SC Age 79, TSgt USAF retired is flying with the angels as of Thursday September 17,2009. He was a veteran of the Korean War, Berlin airlift and the first Lebanon crisis. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years Shirley A. Britten, his daughters Frances B. Pease and her husband Lee, Theresa Snipes, Deborah Thackston and Rebecca Wood and her husband Greg. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Cannon Funeral Home 1150 N. Main St. , Fountain Inn on Monday September 21, 2009 from 12 p.m. until time of Service at 2p.m.. At other times the family will be at the residence of Frances Pease, 121 Ashdown Drive Simpsonville, Sunday September 20, 2009 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the United States Air Force Museum in memory of Gaylord N. Britten.
