Dr. Nevels and his wife Michelle made a significant impact on the life path of my wife and I. Dr. Nevels said "education is something you can share with others, and yet you still have it". So, I have shared all of the knowledge and life skills I can recall from our times together with everyone I meet. I believe that he is at peace, and I pray for peace for Michelle.

Dearest Michele,
We were both shocked and saddened by the news of Jim's death. I had no idea that he was ill. I remember him with such fondness. What a mensch! Of all the many students I taught in Imago, he was by far one of the very best and yet so humble and unassuming. I only wish we could have spent more time together. Knowing Dr Nevels was absolutely one of the best things that ever happened to me. I still sometimes remember his words when I am in a difficult situation, other times I don't remember exactly what he said, but I can feel myself drawing on the wisdom and compassion he imparted to me.

Though I have already signed the guest book, I would like to take this opportunity to say how much I love you both, and how very much I have missed having you in my life the past 3-4 years. When You have the time, would you please contact me? You know how much I loved and admired Jim also, and how very much I wish I could have been with you today. It is a conmfort to know that his deep and abiding faith in all things good is helping him on his way now, but it doesn't truly assuage the missing of him, or of you.

For many years, Dr. Nevels helped me as a patient and I was grateful for his advice and compassion. I am saddened to learn of his passing and send my heartfelt condolences to his family. He was such a wonderful gentleman--I feel lucky and so blessed to have known him.

Dr. Nevels was a great man, and he made such a positive contribution to the life-styles of all that were fortunate enough to spend a few moments with him or those who studied under his guidance. Dr. Nevels and Michelle symbolized the true impact of how amago and concious actions change present and future generations. I will never stop sharing the insight given to me from Dr. Nevels, his knowledge and wisdom will continue to improve the quality of life and be an endless contribution to society. Dr. Nevels has inspired me to recognize that I have a responsibility, an opportunity, and the ability to help myself and others. Dr. Nevels no longer has any pain or suffering, his days are full of joy and sunshine as he smiles down on those still on this earth. Michelle, I am so thankful that God blessed me with Dr. Nevels and you. He definitely was a God-send!!! He was such a dear man who inspired me to reach for the stars. He truly touched my life in many ways and I loved him for all that he taught me. I will never forget all that he stood for! You and Dr. Nevels helped to make me the woman I am today and for that I am eternally grateful. You both were blessings from heaven and a reminder of God's love for me just when I needed it!
