Jane Aseltyne Obituary

Jane Marie Aseltyne Grand Ledge Age 86, died on September 28, 2010, after a brief illness. She was born December 17, 1923 in Monroe, MI to Daniel and Susanna (Engel) Livernois, the youngest of 11 children. She graduated St. Mary's Academy of Monroe and attended Eastern Michigan University. Jane was happily married to Arthur A. Aseltyne for 60 years. He preceded her in death in 2006. Jane was actively involved in several community service organizations. She was dedicated to numerous Catholic parish activities in the Detroit and Lansing area. Jane attended and supported St. Michael Parish of Grand Ledge. She is survived by her four sons, Patrick (Patricia), Dennis (Gina), Michael (Colleen) and Arthur (Mary), 13 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010 at St. Michael Catholic Church. The Right of Committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday October 1, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.at Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home Grand Ledge with Vigil/Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Michael Catholic Church or Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
