Jimmie Alberts Obituary

Jimmie L. Alberts Lansing Born October 11, 1946, in Lansing; died September 24, 2009, at the age of 62. Jimmie was employed for 29 years at M.S.U. in the Instructional Media Center. He enjoyed camping and loved spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Dian; daughter, Karen Alberts; son, Charles (Tracy) Alberts and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 29, at 10 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the Breslin Cancer Center, 401 W. Greenlawn Ave., Lansing, MI, 48910, in memory of Jimmie Alberts. Online condolences may be sent to www.gorslineruncimanfuneralhomes.com.
