Joe Kasper Obituary

Joe L. Kasper St. Johns Joe L. Kasper died Friday May 14, 2010 at the age of 57. He was born December 3, 1952 in St. Johns, MI the son of William and Elma (Plumstead) Kasper. Joe was a 1971 Graduate of St. Johns High School. "We lost our brave and dearly loved brother after a courageous life. Despite battling mental illness, Joe was always able to smile and encourage others. He was truly an example to his family who loved him so dearly". Joe joins his parents and brother, Gary in Heaven. Leaving behind to mourn his passing are his sisters Bonnie (Tom) Wilson of St. Johns and Crystal Maneval of Lansing; nieces and nephews, Troy Wilson and Laurin Cowling, Todd Maneval, Tara (Ed) Paksi, Ty Maneval, Tab (Amy) Maneval and Tazia (Renzie) Milarch, and many great nieces and nephews. Private services have been held. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of St. Johns or Tri-County Mental Health. The family was served by Keck-Coleman Funeral Home St. Johns (989) 224-4422.

To Joe's family, I know that Joe fought all his life. I knew Joe in school. He was in my class. He was a good man and will be missed. I am so sorry that he is gone. Deb Woodhams
