John R. Graham
September 9, 2010
Hello, it was a shock when I noticed my name in the obituary column. My name is John R. Graham. From the notice, I would have been honored to have known him. There are several things we had in common beside name. I am a veteran also (Army though) and I also chose a career in law enforcement, resigning from the Chief of Police position for the Elsie Police Department. At one time (1977) there were Graham's serving as law enforcement officers in Clinton Co. (Ray Graham CCSD), Shiawassee County (Michael Graham (my brother...SCSD), a Graham on Gratiot Co. Sheriff Department and a Graham on Saginaw Co. Sheriff Department. Currently my nephew Michael John Graham is serving on Ingham Co. Sheriff Dept.
I have always been proud of the Graham clan. John was an honorable member. God bless him, and you.
