I can see my Dad (John Lyons, Bill)introducing Aunt Elaine to John Wayne (the movie star)on her arrival into heaven. Even though Dad was my stepfather, I never knew anyone but him and I love all of you and always will as my own family. If there is anything I can do please feel free to contact me. God Bless all of you in your time of sorrow and may he comfort and guide you along the way.
Love,

My dear extended family: What cherished memories we have of this wonderful woman. She will be missed in this life by those that knew and loved her. I can only imagine what heaven must have been like that first night she arrived being surrounded so many other family members that went before her. Do you think she had any words for your Dad for leaving her when he did? We so hoped that we would all be able to get together when we head to Lansing in July so that John's Amanda and their kids could meet her. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. I know that Perpetual Light will shine upon her. With love always, Kathy, Steve and family (Edwards)
