Raymond Haga Obituary

Raymond E. Haga Raymond Haga died September 6, 2010. Raymond was born October 15, 1924, in Forest City, Iowa, to Bert Olsen and Alma Sophia (England) Haga. He served in WWII on the USS South Dakota, aka "Battleship X" and was employed by Lansing Electric Motors and Leon's. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters, Thelma (Joe) Bosheff, Clarice (John) Enright, Dallas (Hub) Galer; brother-in-law, Dan DiOrio; and ex-wife, Lorraine. He is survived by sisters, Ardath DiOrio, Donna Worden; brother, Gale (Carol) Haga; daughters, Patsy Jo Williams, Karen Sue Haga, Debra Lynn (Bruce) Hebler; son, Randy Ray Haga; three grandsons, Michael (Shannon) Williams, Jason Vorce and Aaron Haga; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Kelsey, Ali and Nicholas. He is also survived by special friend and nephew, Raymond Enright; special friend, Don Vorce; and Elmer the cat. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the VFW Morley S. Oates Post #701, 123 N. Rosemary, Lansing MI 48917. I am so sorry for the loss of your brother....I also lost my brother (Blaine) last November 25, 2009. I know that both of our brothers are in a better place now....with no more pain!
