I knew Richard back in grade school in Fowler. Outstanding individual, great friend. Then one year he was gone. Been thinking a lot about him over the last few months. I would have liked to have met him before he left. Talked to him see what he had been doing since grade school. Sorry for your loss and my opportunity.

I am sooo sorry to hear about Rick.... He and I were great friends back in the early '70's and stayed friends for many years. At the time I worked at Connor's out by the Olds/Fisher plant and he helped me in so many ways, whether it be fixing my muffler or helping me paint my living room. He actualy helped me move out to Colorado in 1991 and stayed with us for a month or so. He fit in out here like a local and wherever we went, we could overhear people say "Hey Look...a real Mountain Man" and he would just eat it up!
He was one of those rare people that would do anything for anyone....at anytime. I am blessed that he was a part of my life and my memories.

Sorry to hear Richard has left us. I have always remembered him walking in the Mason/Holt area. When I was younger I remember my mother stopping to give him a ride and since then I have given him a couple of rides. He always seemed to be a really nice person. Didn't talk to much but was always kind. Once his mom passed I know he seemed a little more sad but kept going. My family and I will definately miss seeing him around. May he rest in peace.
