Robert Hall Obituary

Robert Douglas Hall, Sr. Robert Douglas Hall, Sr., peacefully passed away October 15, 2010 at his home with family and loved ones. He was born September 22, 1931 in Clio, Michigan. Mr. Hall is the son of Fred and Marie (Cummings) Hall. He was preceded in death by Bonnie M. Hall, his wife of 39 years. He is survived by his 2 sons, Robert D. Hall, Jr. of Copperas Cove, Texas and Anthony S. Hall of Lowell, Michigan, his half-sister, Penny Hall, 2 half-brothers, Bruce and Bryan Hall, 3 grandchildren, Regina Tefteller, Mark Hall and Taylor Milstead, and 2 great-grandsons, Nickolas Hall and Crockett Tefteller. Robert graduated from Williamston High School in 1949. From there he served in the United States Navy from 1951 until 1954. He returned to Williamston, Michigan where he reunited with his high school sweetheart Bonnie (McGowan). Shortly thereafter, Robert and Bonnie married and built their home in Williamston where Mr. Hall continued to reside until his death. He worked as a Master Electrician for Barker Fowler Electric Company until he retired at the age of 56. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 55 years. His last 3 years of life were enjoyed together with Kay Vincent of Lansing, Michigan. He loved dancing, camping, fishing, and traveling. Mr. Hall's sons will receive relatives and friends on October 18 2010 from 4-6 p.m. and October 19 2010, 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 Middle St., Williamston, MI.
