Dear Mark and Family,

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Hopefully you will find strength and healing as time passes. The times I had working with Sandy at Northwestern Elementary was a pleasure. She was always so cheerful, and had that extra act of kindness to serve everyone's needs. Visiting with her at our daughter's school sporting events were always a memorable time. She will be sadly missed by so many of us. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

As I struggle with words of comfort, I offer my deepest condolences. I had the distinct privilege of growing up with Matt and knowing his wonderful mother pretty well. She was such a wonderful woman, and raised two fantastic children. She always had a smile on her face whenever I saw her, and left a great impression on my 9 yr old, who attended Northwestern Elementary. I had and will continue to have the utmost respect for the woman Sandy was.

Having lost my own father in Jan 2009, I understand quite well what Matt and Beth are going through. I struggle each day with the desire to talk to him just one more time.

My thoughts and prayers go out for your entire family. She is definitely no longer in any physical pain, and is now in the hands of the Holy Father.

Mark, I grieve for your loss. You have done an admiral job of taking care of Sandra during her illness. While I am sure there is a blessing somewhere here. I hope you understand how much your life means to so many of us. You have done extraordinary work to serve both your family and the Eaton Rapids community.
