Violet Aldrich Obituary

Violet Mae Aldrich Haslett Age 87, went to be with her Lord on October 12, 2010, surrounded by her family. Violet was born March 18, 1923 in Bolivar, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Arthur and Alice (Stokes) Oatridge. She was a member of the Bloomingdale United Methodist Church (Bloomingdale, NJ) and locally attended Mount Hope Presbyterian Church. Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; sisters, Edith, Margaret and Alice; and brothers, Arthur and Frank. Surviving are her daughter, Sharon (Mark) Whalon of Mason; son, Richard (Cindy) Aldrich of MA; grandchildren, Jennifer (Evan) Vanderwey, Bethany (Jonathan) Ehrlich, Richard, Evan, Kenneth, Mark and Nathan Aldrich; great-grandchildren, Molly, Anneke, Olivia, Owen, Henry, Gabriel and Maatje Vanderwey, Mitchell, Audrey and Megan Ehrlich; several nieces and nephews. Respecting Violet's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no services. Condolences may be sent to her family c/o Barker-Leik Funeral Home, P. O. Box 125, Mulliken, MI 48861
