On May 11th my calendar for the day said "Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as you can". That is how Howard lived his live. I have learned in this short period of time is the "Truest end of life is to know that life never ends". With that, Howard will be with us always. He continues to give us things to smile about, that is just his way. He is loved by his family dearly.

The Kimballs have always been a second family for me and Howard has always been like a big brother! I learned more from him them I am sure he knew. It all began for me when I was 12 years old and Howard hired me to help on the farm. The whole family treated me like one of their own. Howard was one of the kindess people I have me in my life, although he would not let most people see it. He was unbelievably strong physicly and mentaly. As I grew up and raised my own family, they got to know Howard as well and enjoyed his company when he stopped by. My kids still know him as Uncle Howard. Unfortunetly I did not spend as much time with him the last few years of his life, and that is my loss!
Everyday of my life I use some skill I learned from Howard, I will never forget him!
God Bless him and his family!

Howard was one of the most interesting people I've ever spoken with. He didn't talk much, but when he was in the office at Berry Const., and I could get him talking, he was always really interesting and very funny.

He was too busy, once, to get to one of our jobs. He had another drywaller do the finishing. It only happened ONCE! After we discussed what a mess the other guy made, (Howard did straighten it up) and I told him how much better HE was at finishing, he walked around for days singing "Oh Lord, It's Hard to Be Humble". In key. Years later, that still makes me smile.

He worked on our jobs since he started in 1979, was the best, and I can't imagine a drywall job without him.

Bright, interesting and funny man. He is missed.

Thru the years...we were blessed to know Howard. We came to love Howard thru our visits with him and also business with him. We watched him do the work that he loved at one of our properties, and during that time, we enjoyed Howard's wit & humor. We will miss Howard with love and affection. Our respect and condolances go out to Howard's family as they mourn this loss.

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "come to me."

...You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best

And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

RIP Uncle Howie

We sat beside your bedside,
Our hearts were crushed
and sore;
We did our best to the end,
'Til we could do no more.
In tears we watched
you sinking,
We watched you fade away;
And though our hearts
were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.
You left behind some
aching hearts,
That loved you most sincere;
We never shall and never will
Forget you Brother dear.
