To my cousin/brother that I was blessed to share our young adult life with in Seattle, WA especially at Seattle University and on the football field. I didn't think for once that when we spoke and hugged prior to your departure to Qatar would be the last time I would see you in this world. The smile and proudness your demeanor exemplified was spiritually rewarding. We always kept it real with each other whether we liked it or not and always showed love and respect to each other no matter what. Love you man and may your spirit of energy and courage as a man and soldier be contagious to all that shared life with you. This world lost a soldier and heaven gained one. Glory be to God. Farewell my brother Flando Elix Jackson. On behalf of the Wade Family our condolences to Uncle John and Aunt Brenda Jackson and Mama Mae and ALL Family. Love, Kevin D. Wade-Hanson

What can I say about my friend Flando? From being a man who served his Country with pride, to the man who served the citizens of Washington State where he served as a probation officer. I just know when I look up to the jail booking door I won't be seeing you come through anymore. You will be missed my friend. Thank you for everything. For Flando's family. Know he was truly an honorable man. He touched so many lives here in Washington State, and was a friend to all. Until we meet again.
