Ronald John Wolfers

Ronald John Wolfers LUBBOCK-Ronald John Wolfers, 61, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2013. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Friday, Jan. 11, at 4 p.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Ronnie was born on Nov. 2, 1951, to Paul H. and Hannelore Wolfers in Tipton, Kan. He graduated from Milan High School, Milan, Tenn. Ronnie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Texas Tech University in 1995. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Survivors include his children, Uriah Wolfers, Nathan Wolfers and wife, Leah, and Aurora Hogue and husband, Brandon; grandson, Jett Hogue; sisters, Elizabeth Wolfers and husband, Robin Kuckyer, and Ingrid Walter (Reesor) and husband, Steve; and brother, Anthony Cook and wife, Teresa. Ronnie is also survived by the love of his life, Marty Dillon. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Vanessa Cook, who died in 1990.
