Cory Campbell Obituary

Cory Clayton Campbell Memorial services for Cory Clayton Campbell will be at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12th, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. He died Thursday, July 7, 2011, in Ransom Canyon, Texas. Cory was born Sept. 22, 1968, in Lamesa, Texas. He was a 1987 graduate of Coronado High School, where he met the love of his life and future wife, Michelle Huffman. Cory and Michelle married on Jan. 25, 1996. Their son, Cutter, the joy of Cory's life, was born in 1999. Cory worked in the medical equipment sales/service field for the past 20 years. He loved being outdoors, hiking or fishing with his family, especially in Colorado. As a child he loved riding his bicycle, playing roller hockey and hanging out with his cousins and friends. Cory was an avid foosball player and a great lover of music. Survivors include his wife, Michelle; son, Cutter; mother, Judy Campbell; and sister, Michele Campbell, all of Lubbock. He is also survived by his wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, niece, nephew and many dear friends. Cory was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Katie Owen Parker in 1985. A tribute page is available at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave his family words of comfort. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Lubbock Animal Shelter.
