She was my first true love way back in the 80´s and despite the many years that have passed, she still holds a very special place in my heart. Gone but most certainly never forgotten!

Darcy was an amazing woman, a great friend and my first love growing up. I was blessed to call her girlfriend way back in 7th grade and I feel so blessed that she kept me around for almost 5 years, lol. I have so many awesome memories of time spent with her. We enjoyed music together, riding on snowmobiles, roller-skating and talking about what we would do when we grew up. I loved just talking with her. She was kindhearted, extremely intelligent, funny and she had infectious optimistic view of the world around her. She affected my life in ways that still exist today, and I am so thankful to have been part of her life. It is so hard to believe she has been gone for 8 years and despite not seeing her in over 30 years, I still think about her at least a few times a month. My continued love and appreciation for her defines the statement, "gone but never forgotten". RIP dear friend, we all miss you!!!

Darcy, the only thing that could ever outshine the luster of your contributions to the lives of the people around you was the beauty of your soul, which was instantly transmitted to anyone who ever made eye contact with you. You are so loved by so many, and will never be forgotten.

Darcy was my girlfriend from 7th grade until our junior year in high school. She was always a pure soul and the bright light in any room (in many ways LOL). She helped me through many studies. I was amazed that she only needed to read something once to have it comited to memory. Her mind, her heart and her soul were so beautiful. I will always love her as my first love, a great person and an inspiration for those around her. I am so sorry for the loss to all of the family and friends affected. She will be missed but never ever forgotten.

Dr. Reich was a brilliant mentor, colleague, friend, and teacher to me and countless others. She was there for me during some dark hours in my life in the last ten years, and I pray that she knew how much I respected and loved her. The TTU Community grieves her loss, and I send my sincere thoughts and prayers for peace to her family. Rest in peace my sweet friend, no more pain.
