Mama you will be missed dearly. For the past several years I've come to know you on a personal level. No words can express the woman and grandmother you have always been. I hate I won't be able to see you anymore but I am glad you are no longer in pain. Thank you for your words of wisdom. I love you.

Janice was a much loved cousin. We didn't see much of each other through the years, but I loved talking to her on the phone. She was always so kind and loving to my mother, Verline Hilley. My mother enjoyed visiting with Marvin and Janice. They always showered her with love. That was just their way!

Janice was a close friend and confidante for the past 22 years. We boosted each other in stressful times, then end our phone coversations or visits giggling like two teenagers. In addition, Janice was a sister in Christ. Condolences to Marvin and the sons and their families. Gwen Sims Dow, Smyer, TX

I remember the Stroope family from the days Mike & I were in High School. Mrs Stroope was always such a kind, sweet lady. I remember the days of when she worked at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock, I am pretty sure that she & my mom would check quite often to see if picked up on anything the sons had been into. It has been many years but I hold very kind memories of this special family.
