Emory Ellis Obituary
Eatonton, GA- Emory "David" Ellis age 65 of Eatonton, GA. was born in Macon, GA. and passed away June 21, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Josephine Ellis; brother, Gary Ellis. David attended Willingham High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1965. He played the trombone in the marching band and traveled to the World's Fair in New York. David played baseball at Middle Georgia College in Cochran and graduated from Georgia Southern College and was a charter member of Sigma Nu fraternity.
He is survived by his children, Tamara Jo and Justin Ellis of Chattanooga, TN and their mother, Madeline Jo; brother, Dennis Ellis of Cochran, GA; sister, Phyllis (Steve) Stone of Macon, GA; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews and special friends.
David requested that his ashes be placed in the ocean at Daytona Beach, FL. where he lived some of his most happiest days. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Please feel free to leave your condolences at www.lowcountrycremation.com

To the Ellis Family
David was one of the first Brothers that I met in 1969. It was a pleasure to pledge with Dennis in the Fall of 1969. David and My Brother, Mike Brady, were part of the reason that I became a Sigma Nu. As another Brother joins Chapter Eternal, I know they are all together enjoying each other's company.
