Rosa Mae Blankenship McLeod -FORT VALLEY - Rosa Mae Blankenship McLeod, 90, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 6, 2010. -Mrs. McLeod was born on September 21, 1919, in Milan, Georgia, and has lived in the middle Georgia area for the past seventy years. A devoted homemaker, she was a member of The Upper Room Fellowship, and enjoyed sewing and quilting. Her husband of seventy-three years, James H. "Mac" McLeod; parents, Willie and Lola McLeod Blankenship; and two grandchildren, all preceded her in death. -Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Rosielene McLendon (Don), Naples, Florida; Maggie Byrd (Rex), Macon; Mary Jane West (Frank), Fairburn, and Deannie Jones (Don), Alpharetta; sons, James McLeod (Joyce), and Sidney McLeod (Sheila), all of Fort Valley; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. -Visitation will be Saturday, July 10, 2010, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11A.M. on Saturday, July 10, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Brother Sidney McLeod officiating. Entombment will follow in Perry Memorial Gardens.
